A few years back, the boys watched American Idol with Connie. I remember back then that Hayden would typically go for the underdog and Quinn went with the perceived leader (not necessarily because they were the leader). Each week they would watch with great anticipation to the results. I’ve consistently avoided the show, but this year the girls were the ones watching the show with Connie. Maggie picked the underdog some, but not always. She did however attach to the person that seemed to get booted off the show each week. She was crushed. Happy endings though as their favorite ended up on top.
So this week, the girls were playing American Idol in the play room. They had one of our kid tents setup as the venue. A chair was placed in the back for the audience. The three judges were represented by Woody (of Toy Story), Cinderella and Pocahontas’s boyfriend (John Smith?). The host was Rapunzel (of Tangled). They would introduce the show and different toys would get their opportunity to be the next toy American Idol. It was too cute. Seriously. I believe in the end, one of the Burger King toys got the most votes. Go figure.
